Anal and rectal swabs and slides as per MEK

Genital swabs and slides, as per MEK*

Up to 72 hours (longer if bowels not opened)

Penile → Oral

Oral swab and slide – as per MEK

Also do lips/peri-oral wet and dry

(NB: Do not do buccal DNA reference sample as well, do blood DNA reference sample if possible)
